My Kindle got a new skin. I keep calling it “skinsuit” since you people have made it impossible to stop talking like a serial killer even in my normal human interactions. lol
Well, you probably don’t need to see how insane I actually am, but look at my pretty new Kindle skin! I’m hoping it will keep me from lusting after a Kindle Touch.
Did you guys get e-readers as holiday gifts? How are they treating you?
The entire BLADES OF THE ROSE bundle is only $8.84 for Kindle →
Four full length books packed full of romance, adventure, and hot, hot sex, and all for less than a movie ticket? YES.
AWWWWWW YEEAAAAAAHHHHHH
More new books! I have no self-control!
Here’s the damage:
- Book 7 of the Dark Hunter series Sorry dudes, but the first book is not picking up in quality. I will keep reading, though, because I care enough to finish. And I want to give it a second chance.
- Tempest Rising by Nicole Peeler. I’ve been interested for a while and my awesome friend Nancy told me that the first one was pretty good, although she (accurately) described the cover as “Lisa Frank meets BRATZ.” Thank dog for e-readers. It’s also $3 on Amazon, so why not?
- The Duke and I by Julia Quinn. I do not know how I have not read this yet.
New Books!
A week or so ago, I got a book that I had forgotten I’d preordered, Sins of the House of Borgia, which was a recommendation from Ali. It’s one of the books she’s repping in her glamorous publishing career, and apparently she used the words “dirty pope sex” to describe it to a group of about 80 librarians and bookstore owners. Is it any wonder she’s a fabulous success? Is it any wonder I couldn’t resist? Because dirty pope sex is the best kind of—-there is no way to finish this sentence without being horrible.
ANYWAYS. It arrived not long ago, for the bargain price of $2.39, so I’m reading about the nasty Borgias and the sins of their house, and given that this book is long, I will probably be reading it for a bit.
NEXT UP! You guys have been telling me about Sherrilyn Kenyon and the Dark Hunter series for ages now, so I went ahead and got Fantasy Lover and I will read that as soon as the popes finish their … business.
Stay tuned!
So I was in Atlanta this weekend with some friends, and one of them had a new Kindle. I had mine, of course, because it goes everywhere with me, and I did a little side-by-side test drive. This is what happened when I got home. Once I do some exploring, I’ll give a more detailed review. But for now, my review is this: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My Kindle 2 was a wonderful device, and it’s already found a new home with my coworker, who is ecstatic with it. E-READERS FOR ALL!
